You will be introduced to the fundamentals of handling a firearm, pistol parts and operation, ammunition, shooting fundamentals ... all with an emphasis on safety. You will spend approximately 5 hours in the classroom and 2-3 hours on the range. Suitable for ages 16+.
This 90 minute class is designed to be given to business groups, church groups, realtors, neighborhood groups, families or just about anybody who wants to learn the steps to ensure that they are more aware of their surroundings and become less likely to be a victim.

This NRA class is designed to teach students the knowledge, skills and attitude essential for avoiding dangerous confrontations and for the safe, effective and responsible use of a concealed pistol for self-defense outside the home.
Participants must also understand the basic legal concepts relating to the use of firearms in self-defense, and must know and observe not only general gun safety rules, but also those safety principles that are specific to defensive situations. The course is 9-hours and offers the essential knowledge and skills that must be mastered in order to carry, store, and use a firearm safely and effectively for personal protection outside the home. Students spend several hours on the range and shoot approximately 100 rounds of ammunition.
In order to register for any of the classes offered by SAEF-USA LLC you must be a legal U. S. citizen and not disqualified from possessing a firearm as defined by applicable federal, state or local laws.
For the Pistols 101 class only ... if you do not have a firearm at this time, for an additional charge we will supply you with either a .22 or 9mm semi- automatic pistol and ammunition.

We offer classes for all levels of training, from the first time shooter who has never picked up a handgun, to those wanting to learn more techniques, or those who are experienced but need a class to procure their conceal carry permit*.
*Idaho NOTE: Yes, even though Idaho is now a permitless concealed carry state (Constitutional Carry) if you want to be able to carry your firearm in other states (reciprocity) you must take either a Basic Pistol Class or an NRA PPITH class (Idaho enhanced).

I can't even begin to tell you how much fun this program is. The Winchester Program is a self-paced program but we've found that it's a lot of fun to do with a group of people. Let us set this up for you! From beginning to end, this program will hone your skills and you'll earn patches along the way. If you make it all the way to the end you'll receive a DISTINGUISHED EXPERT patch and pin and have lots of bragging rights!
This NRA Certified Range Safety Officer course provides the participant with the knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to organizing, conducting, and supervising safe shooting activities and range operations.
This course is 9- hours long and is conducted in a classroom. Range Safety Officer candidates will learn roles and responsibilities of an RSO; range Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); range inspection; range rules; range briefings; emergency procedures; firearm stoppages and malfunctions. Each Range Safety Officer candidate will receive an RSO Student Study Guide, an NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure and a Course Evaluation form, along with a course Completion Card.

This is an 8-hour NRA course for more experienced shooters where you will learn basic defensive shooting skills and strategies for home safety, how to respond to a violent confrontation, firearms and the law, and choosing a handgun for self-defense inside the home. Students should expect to shoot approx 100 rounds of ammunition. This class fills the requirement for training to receive an Idaho Enhanced Concealed Weapon License (CWL). (NOTE: This class may or may not contain the legal portion and will be stated as such when listed. There are several attorneys and law enforcement officials that hold a monthly class on the legal aspects and most will be happy to sign a form for you showing that you have taken the legal portion.)
